Some of you may know that I have joined a student association group in uni mainly to have some of social life. Except socialising was never my forte.
So I decided to apply for a position in the General Committee team of that group. They wanted to get to know everyone who applied better, so we all went out to have lunch today. I thought I would go alright in terms of socialising: not too social and not too antisocial.
Guess what?
I was mentally exhausted after an hour of exchanging a few words to people. I guess I am a natural introvert. I was alright when we were playing Skyfall and Mafia but I was always suspected as either the spy (in Spyfall) or the mafia (in Mafia). I learnt that I look dodgy all the time because I barely talk and enjoy watching people argue about who is the bad guy.
I am the person to be around if you just want to have quiet time to think or someone to rant to, but I am not ideal if you want to talk and get to know me. That’s going to take a while.
Oh well….
